Air Powered PVC Rocket
PVC air rocket powered from an air compressor. Used around 90 psi and all pressure components are schedule 40 PVC. An electrically actuated sprinkler valve is used and a cordless drill battery powers the valve. I have achieved up to 170 feet so far. The next one I build will have a much larger air chamber and a longer launch tube.
